These are the rules for using bonnieip.com and the Bonnie Ip Homemade Market Trends subscription service operated by Bonnie Ip Homemade ("we", "us", "our"). Reading the site, joining the email list, or subscribing to Market Trends means you agree to them. They are short on purpose.

1. Landing site & email list

1.1 What this site is

This is a pre-launch landing page for Bonnie Ip Homemade, a small handmade-bag studio launching on Etsy in Summer 2026. The site exists to share a small set of preview images and let you join our email list so you'll know the moment the shop opens.

1.2 What this site is not

You cannot buy bags on this site. All bag sales happen on Etsy, and your transaction is governed by Etsy's Terms of Use and the policies on the Bonnie Ip Homemade Etsy shop, not by this page. Returns, shipping, and refunds for bags are handled per the Etsy policies.

1.3 Information accuracy & launch date

We've done our best to make every image and statement on this site accurate at the time it was published. The launch date, the pieces shown, and the timing of email sends are all subject to change without notice. If your launch-day strategy depends on Bonnie Ip Homemade opening at a specific minute, please plan for some flexibility.

1.4 Email list

Joining the email list is opt-in: you submit your email through one of the forms on this page. You can leave at any time by clicking unsubscribe at the bottom of any email we send. Unsubscribing is permanent until you explicitly resubscribe.

We will not sell or share your email address. See the Privacy Policy for the full picture.

2. Market Trends subscription

The paid Market Trends service — accessible at /trends/full after subscribing at /pricing — is governed by the additional terms in this Section 2. The free preview at /trends is governed by Section 1 and the General Terms below.

By subscribing or by clicking "Sign in" you agree to these subscription terms. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction).

2.1 What the subscription delivers

The paid service delivers a weekly research panel covering fabric, color, and silhouette trends in the luxury bag and accessory market, including:

• A top-20 ranked list of candidates per session.
• Source citations from publicly available editorial articles, runway coverage, and search-trend data.
• Up to 6 illustrative images per candidate, drawn from commercial-use-licensed sources (Pexels, Unsplash, Wikimedia Commons).
• Bilingual (English / Traditional Chinese) display.
• Access to the prior 90 days of weekly research sessions.
• Side-by-side comparison of any two sessions.

2.2 Editorial analysis, not investment or purchasing advice

The Market Trends service is editorial analysis. The rankings, scores, rationale bullets, and source citations represent our best-effort interpretation of publicly available information at the moment of publication. They are not:

• Investment advice or recommendations to buy, hold, or sell any asset.
• Purchasing advice or sourcing recommendations for any particular fabric, supplier, or quantity.
• A guarantee that any predicted trend will materialize, persist, or be commercially viable.

Trends are inherently uncertain. Any business decisions you make based on the service — including fabric purchases, production planning, or pricing — are made entirely at your own risk and discretion.

2.3 Subscriptions, billing, and renewals

Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly at $29 USD or annual at $290 USD, as selected at checkout). All payments are processed by Stripe; we do not see or store your card details.

By subscribing, you authorize us, via Stripe, to charge the payment method on file at the start of each billing period. Subscription fees are listed in U.S. dollars and exclude any applicable taxes, which Stripe Tax may add at checkout based on your billing address.

Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel it through the Account page (which opens the Stripe Billing Portal). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access for the time you have already paid for.

2.4 Refunds

14-day refund window. If you cancel within 14 days of your initial subscription purchase (first month or first year), we will refund 100% of the fee paid, no questions asked. This window is required by EU consumer law and we extend it worldwide.

After the 14-day window. We do not pro-rate or refund partial billing periods. If you cancel a monthly subscription on day 20 of the month, you keep access until day 30 and are not refunded for the unused 10 days. The same applies to annual subscriptions after the 14-day window.

Service-failure exception. If we materially fail to deliver the service (for example, the panel is broken for more than 7 consecutive days within a billing period) we will refund the affected period on request, even outside the 14-day window. Email kevin@bonnieip.com to claim.

2.5 Acceptable use

You agree NOT to:

• Redistribute, resell, or publicly republish the contents of the service, in whole or in significant part, without our prior written permission. The research is licensed to you for internal business use, not for redistribution.
• Scrape, mirror, or systematically download the service via automated means.
• Use the service to train, fine-tune, or evaluate any machine-learning model without our prior written permission.
• Share your sign-in link or session cookie with anyone outside your business.
• Attempt to circumvent the subscription paywall, including by manipulating the magic-link or session-cookie mechanisms.
• Use the service in violation of any applicable law (including export-control, sanctions, or competition law).

2.6 Third-party content and images

The service cites and links to public editorial sources (Vogue, Marie Claire, WhoWhatWear, retailer product pages, etc.). We do not control, endorse, or guarantee the accuracy of those third-party sources. Links are provided for verification; we are not responsible for changes to or removal of cited articles.

Images displayed in the paid service are drawn from commercial-use-licensed sources (Pexels, Unsplash, Wikimedia Commons). If you believe an image we display infringes your rights, email kevin@bonnieip.com with the URL and we will remove it within 48 hours.

2.7 Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the paid service if you materially breach these Terms (for example, by redistributing the data or attempting to circumvent the paywall). We will give you written notice of the breach and a reasonable opportunity to cure where commercially practicable.

You may terminate your subscription at any time via the Account page.

3. General terms

3.1 Intellectual property

All preview images on bonnieip.com are photographs of pieces designed by Bonnie Yip and made by Kevin Wong, or of fabrics and materials from Bonnie's personal archive. Please do not copy or repost the images for commercial use without permission. Sharing them on personal social media with credit (and a link back to bonnieip.com) is welcome.

The selection, ranking, scoring methodology, rationale text, and presentation of the Market Trends service are our intellectual property. The factual data points cited (e.g., "Pinterest searches for X were up Y%") are not owned by us; we extract them from public sources under fair-use principles. The trademarks of any third parties named in the service (Bottega Veneta, Hermès, etc.) belong to those parties and are referenced under nominative fair use solely to describe their public business activities.

The brand name Bonnie Ip Homemade and the associated logo are used in commerce by Bonnie Yip and Kevin Wong.

3.2 No warranty

The site and the Market Trends service are provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of forecasts, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above exclusions may not apply to you.

3.3 Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to bonnieip.com or the Market Trends service, regardless of legal theory, will not exceed the greater of:

• (a) the amount you paid us in subscription fees during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or
• (b) USD 100.

In no event will we be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or special damages, including loss of profits, loss of business, loss of inventory value, or loss of data, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Liability for bags you purchase on Etsy is governed separately by Etsy's terms and the consumer-protection laws of your jurisdiction, not by this clause.

3.4 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bonnie Ip Homemade, Bonnie Yip, and Kevin Wong from and against any third-party claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to (a) your breach of these Terms, (b) your misuse of the service, or (c) content you submit to the service.

3.5 Changes to the service or these Terms

We may change the service (features, pricing, scope) or these Terms at any time. For material adverse changes affecting paid subscribers (e.g., a price increase, a meaningful reduction in features), we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email and, if you don't accept, you may cancel and receive a pro-rata refund of any prepaid annual fee covering the period after the change takes effect. Non-material changes (typo fixes, clarifications, new features) take effect when posted.

3.6 Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States (Los Angeles County), without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the State of California, United States (Los Angeles County), and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction that grants you mandatory consumer-protection rights, nothing in this section overrides those rights.

3.7 Severability and entire agreement

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. These Terms (together with our Privacy Policy) constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding bonnieip.com and the Market Trends service.
